God loves you and offers a plan for your life.

For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. (John 3:16)

“I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.” (John 10:10b) He desires for us to have a full and meaningful life.

Man’s nature is sinful and that separates us from God.

...for all have sinned and come short of the glory of God… (Romans 3:23)

For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. (Romans 6:23)

We were created to have fellowship with God, but our sinful nature and self-will broke that fellowship. Passively living life without perimeters to guide us has brought rebellion in our character and that separates us from God.

The only provision for man’s sin is through Jesus Christ.

For when we were still without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly. (Romans 5:6)

God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. (Romans 5:8)

Jesus said to him “I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.” (John 14:16)

Each of us as individuals must accept and receive Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior of our life.

But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name. (John 1:12)

For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast. (Ephesians 2:8-9)

..."Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved, you and your household." (Acts 16:31)

"Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and dine with him, and he with Me.” (Revelation 3:21)

He who believes in the Son of God has the witness in himself; he who does not believe God has made Him a liar, because he has not believed the testimony that God has given of His Son. And this is the testimony: that God has given us eternal life, and this life is in His Son. He who has the Son has life; he who does not have the Son of God does not have life. (I John 5:10-12)

Receiving Christ as your Lord and Savior is a simple act of faith and heartfelt prayer.

Your words do not have to be eloquent and there is no absolute technique. God is concerned with the attitude of your heart. When that is right, God is listening. You can count on it.

If you desire to become a child of God, turn from your old ways and accept Christ as your Savior. I invite you to pray this simple prayer.

“Lord Jesus, I ask you to come into my life and take control. Forgive me of all my sins and the wrongs that I have committed. Thank you for giving your life for me, I recognize you as the Son of the living God, and I accept you as my Lord and Savior. Create in me a clean heart and renew my mind that I may become the person that you have purposed for me to be.”
